MondouCu Animal Training uses a combination of training methods to maximize your training experience. By working with you and your animals on an individual basis with individualized training goals we can enhance your relationship efficiently. All training (in-home and group) requires individual commitment and homework. We can educate you, you must follow through and implement the lessons you have learned.
Our head trainer, Dawn, has over 30 years of practical experience training dogs, cats and horses, working through behavior problem behaviors and rebuilding broken relationships between the animal and human worlds. She has a gift of communication with animals and works well even with the most stubborn. Dawn also has the unique ability to watch your interactions with your animal and be very accurate in the overall “problem solving”. Dawn is an incredibly upfront, honest person - she will not lead you down any golden brick road that does not exist and she will always call it exactly how she sees it.
Lori is in her 10th year of practical experience with dogs and cats and has 4 years of formal education in behavior. She practices tough love type of training that works exceptionally well with strong willed dogs. Lori has an open mind and will listen to your situation completely before returning to our team to work through evaluations and training plans. Lori’s formal education provides her with the ability to analyze a situation in it’s entirety. Additionally, Lori’s education is evident in her work with Service & Therapy dogs and their human counter-parts.
Karen has been with us for the last 4 years. She is an apprentice trainer with us and is making excellent progress toward becoming a great dog trainer. She already has 10 years of practical experience with horse training. Karen’s compassion with the dogs combined with her ability to work with her clients is an asset to everyone in our team.
Randa is new to our crew. She brings 20 years of practical experience with dogs to our team, along with her experience with birds. Randa will be handling all bird evaluations and consultations. Her knowledge with regard to “special needs” animals is an amazing asset that will prove to be an asset to you and our team.
