JH1 is for children ages 8-12. JH2 is for 13-17. Junior handlers will learn the basics of handling their dog in public, safety rules and communication skills to make certain they address all concerns with their parent(s) about any problems they encountered while out walking/playing with their dog. Parents are required to be on site during this training, however the class is limited to children only. Parents are welcome to remain in our clubhouse. All JH classes meet for 4 weeks in 1 hour sessions.

Junior Handlers class is the foundation for lifetime success with regard to dog handling and ownership. This class is fun, educational and establishes a true level of understanding of appropriate behavior around canines.
Upon graduation, your child will receive a beautiful certificate indicating his/her success in becoming a junior handler.
