"Club is unique in its the ability to provide access to serious training but also to allow for flexibility. We all love working our dogs but no one expects dogs to be worked on a single task for four solid hours. We also enjoying comparing behavioral notes and experiences with other trainers, both novice and expert. Impromptu classes and discussions are part of Club. (Like once when we all found ourselves comparing notes on undesended testicles in puppies and how to possibly correct the situation. Or when several of us started comparing what we knew about about possible show ring patterns for gait.) The informal atmosphere of Club is specifically created to allow even the most novice trainer and green dog a pleasant, novel experience, cementing the bond between all humans and canines thru activity and communication.

Regardless of a dogs behavioral limitations, regardless of a humans experience limitations, one thing is guaranteed, those limits will never change without exposure and PRACTICE. And Club provides the perfect venue for exposure and practicing nearly everything."

My husband and I became associated with Dawn & Lori in January, 2007, after doing much research into reputable German Shepherd breeders in the area. We were impressed with their commitment to breeding dogs with a well-balanced temperament, high level of intelligence, high level of sociability, and high level of confidence.  We have three children and have never had any issues of concern with them around any of the MondouCu dogs.

We continue to work with MondouCu as members of their Dog Training Club, driving several times a week from Grand Rapids to participate in training sessions. We also are obtaining specialized training for each dog separately in the areas of  Personal Protection Training and Search and Rescue.  We have found Dawn and Lori to be highly knowledgeable and committed to their business and the well being of their dogs. The service that they provide is a great asset to the community.

Private Training comment (after 1st session)

You do not know what a difference both have made. I got the Capture yesterday and used it right away. Love the results. Daisy's new name is Feona and Ace got his name changed too It's Merlyn. Feona is sleeping in her crate at night and not acting like a fool, she is in there when I leave the house and I don't hear anything from her. It is great. I'm excited to see what else can happen with not just Feona but Merlyn too. Thanks again.

Private Training Client -

Before training we were dealing with so many issues, from fence fighting and lunging at kids to chewing the walls in my house.  I was afraid that my dog was going to be taken away from me by animal control.  She is doing so well now, she understands what I expect from her, what her limits are and I understand what she needs to keep her safe and happy. Thanks guys, you have changed our lives!

When we first contacted Dawn and Lori, we were at our wits end. We had two VERY unruly dogs - litter mates that were literally tearing our lives apart. Our house had been completely overrun. There were no rules, no limits and worst of all we didn’t even know what we could expect.  The shedding was terrible, the gas from the food they were eating was enough to send you running from the room, and the constant lack of sleep and barking were enough to make anyone crazy. We were ready to re-home both dogs.

Dawn & Lori came in, helped us to figure out where we had lost control and taught us how to gain control. That was a blessing in itself, on top of that they recommended a change in food that decreased the shedding, eliminated the gas and showed immediate coat improvement.  Thank you Dawn & Lori, you have made our lives happier and our dogs easy to live with.
