Animals, like humans, are social creatures who learn manners in their everyday interactions. However, animals are amoral, unlike humans.  They learn lessons, not because they made us mad or hurt our feelings, but because of the experience they had during the lesson. There is usually a gap between what humans “want” and what the animal “understand” - it is our job to close that gap by teaching you and your dog to communicate.

Typically speaking, 90% of an animals’ life is spent at home.  It is important that you and your animal know the basics of communication between species as well as the relationship lines so behaviors can be shaped in the home and transfer to the community.  Whether you choose in home training or group class, your training experience will be individualized.

MondouCu Animal Training uses a combination of training methods to maximize your training experience. Our training methods are based upon proven methods, not the latest fad or trend.  To effectively train a dog, you must address the structure of the “pack” or family unit, the lifestyle of the family where the dog lives, and the fundamental balances within the home.

MondouCu training begins with three simple questions:  Who are you, where are you in life and what do you want from your future? You need to be able to answer these three questions openly and honestly before you begin training with us. When we complete your enrollment interview we will determine who your animal is, what their experiences have been and what they want.  This information makes it possible not only to “train” but also to educate and (re)build the relationship.
